DETROIT -- A Detroit woman who barricaded herself in her home in a standoff with police over her daughter's care has lost in an effort in Juvenile Court to regain custody of her daughter. ann Godboldo challenged police who had gone to her west side home with a writ involving Godboldo's 13-year-old daughter. Watch: Barricaded Detroit Mom Can't Get Daughter Now In State Custody Watch: Mom In Standoff Accused Of Not Giving Daughter Medications Godboldo is facing charges for that confrontation, in which, police said, she allegedly fired a shot at officers and began a lengthy standoff that finally ended peacefully. In testimony in court Wednesday, Child Protective Services workers listed 17 allegations that were in a petition to remove the child from home. Those allegations included the child not showing up for therapy and not taking prescribed medication. The workers also claim anne Godboldo did not show proof she was providing alternative care for her daughter and did not show up at a scheduled meeting with workers. Wanda is Godboldo's attorney and she questioned that allegation. "She was not notified that if she did not show up for this hearing that her child could be taken," said. Ferina is the attorney representing the girl's father. He said the case worker rushed to judgment and the girl was never in danger. "Both mother and father work together and have worked together with the special needs of this child, and the state has not even considered that in this matter," Ferina said. Local 4 reported Tuesday that the girl's father had learned the girl had been diagnosed with a sexually transmitted disease. He claims she was assaulted at some point during the last eleven days she has been at the Hawthorne Center in Northville, where she is being medicated.

At some point, the girl will be discharged and Child Protective Services will work to place her with other family members. An anguished anne Godboldo talked about her frustrations after the Wednesday hearing. "I'm very concerned about my daughter. I'm trying to hold on but I don't think that I can do it. We need more people and more help," Godboldo said. anne Godboldo is due in court Friday for a hearing on the criminal charges against her. Previous story:
