I think the last sentence really says it all, don't you?

" These

results show that, in this experimental model, fluoxetine treatment

reproduces the pathology of chronic interstitial pneumonia in humans. "

Well I also had these lung pains/heaviness when I took Trazodone as

well. I didn't notice it in Paxil because I didn't take that long

enough due to the drueling (?) and tremors.

Now that I'm off Prozac, my lungs feel better everyday!!!

We describe a patient who developed progressive dyspnea, lung

infiltrates, and restrictive lung disease in association with the

antidepressant fluoxetine hydrochloride (Prozac). The pathologic

findings were consistent with hypersensitivity pneumonitis. An

associated pulmonary phospholipidosis was also noted. "

Key Words: drug-induced lung disease • fluoxetine hydrochloride

In a message dated 7/17/2008 4:11:43 A.M. Pacific Daylight Time, SSRI medications writes:

I was on only 20 mg/day of Prozac and I had lung pain/tightness. This is NOT an overdose amt. Adverse reactions occur in normal dosage amts

This is 4x's what the dose was in the clinical trials, so if they only used 5 mgs then, how did 20 mgs get to be a standard dose, and why on earth do they give cancer-causing antidepressants to cancer patients???Get the scoop on last night's hottest shows and the live music scene in your area - Check out TourTracker.com!
