Guest guest
GOOD NEWS!!! LETS GET THE USA TO DO THE SAME !!!! YEAH!!!! On November 6, 2007, the region of Piedmont in Italy passed a precedent-setting law called “Regulations about the use of psychotropic substances on children and teenagers.” The law prohibits schools from conducting any psychological tests or questionnaires on students in order to ascertain their emotional or psychological state. The law requires officials to maintain a record containing: Analysis of the number of children prescribed psychotropic drugs A list of the specific drugs they are prescribed A list of side effects reported The types and number of psychological tests conducted in health centers on youths Specifics on the provision of alternatives to psychotropic drugs, and Reports on any non-compliance to this law. Let's go, people, we're being left in the human rights dust behind Italy. Write your state legislators and tell them what you think; ask them to prohibit schools from conducting any psychological tests or questionnaires on students, and to replace psychiatric drugs with effective education.
