Guest guest
Hello -- I'm involved in a new volunteer peer support site for antidepressant withdrawal and prolonged withdrawal syndrome SurvivingAntidepressants.org. Our aim is to support people in tapering and while they recover from prolonged withdrawal syndrome, which can last far longer than the few weeks admitted by medicine. If you know of anyone who is thinking of tapering, tapering, or has quit and is still suffering withdrawal symptoms, please let them know about http://survivingantidepressants.org. We also want to collect case histories of prolonged withdrawal syndrome to educate medicine and make the prescription of antidepressants much, much less indiscriminate. So if you know of someone who has recovered from 6 months to years of withdrawal syndrome, please urge them to post their stories. We want to know how long severe prolonged withdrawal syndrome lasts. It seems this might be something like 5-7 years. Recovery stories can relieve the common fear of many prolonged withdrawal sufferers who despair that they will never recover. Referral links from blogs, forums, and sites to our site are also very welcome! Thank you, Surviving Administrator SurvivingAntidepressants.org
