Guest guest
In reference of 's post, I believe he was implying that the Clinton/Democrat administration has more -potential- of looking at ppl with disabilities moreso than Bush's. That could be a generalization. However, with Republicans...we don't see many minorities in their public mainstream, thus they are probably overlooked compared to the " norm. " Outside of Gore/Bush... Bill Bradley had 1 black and 1 Asian advisor on his poltical campaign and McCain's advisors were all Caucasion... Anyway, I'll end here since its starting to get off-topic. Guest guest
Irene, I just wanted to add my comment to your email. I agree with Tony's post and your commentary. Just due to the fact that Gore chose ph Lieberman as his VP, shows that it doesn't matter if you are a minority or of different religion, it just matters if you are qualified to do the job. I think if Gore/Lieberman win the election, I think it will break down a lot of barriers in the goverment and society and be more accepting to all minorities (racial, religious, or disabled.) I was also very impressed with Al Gore's letter to halftheplanet.com. He seems very dedicated to helping creating more opportunities for persons with disabilities. yuan@... wrote: > In reference of 's post, I believe he was implying that the > Clinton/Democrat administration has more -potential- of looking at ppl > with disabilities moreso than Bush's.
