Bob, how can you tell me to control my remarks, yet you say you will speak up

for the " rights " of others?

Who are you representing when you say there are folks that prefer the term

midget?

Do you know blacks that prefer the " N " word. Or Asians that like the term

" Orientals " ?

Come on Bob, it's the new millennium.

I don't think anyone, short or tall deserves to be referred to as " perfectly

proportioned "

Perfection is a subjective term. Nobody's perfect Bob.

i got so angry when someone called me a midget that i cried, because of the lack

of respect. midget is a word people can use, but i dont like it. doesnt describe

us very well.

There are many of the hypopituitary group that liked to be called

midgets. They are perfectly proportioned and dont consider themselves

dwarfs. It doesnt matter either way to me but I will speak out for the

others rights. Please control your remarks in the future. Bob Brower

Yeah, I bet.....

Hey Bobkin....! Is that why you call yourself " Superelf " ......thinking

you've got some of those superior genes..... huh.

Well, let me set the list straight.. Sir Hugh Grant ....you ain't got no

perfection in proportion ( I didn't attend Harvard) and I'll bet you still

put your drawers on backward in the dark like the rest of us.

I guess most of us have been called " %#@+ " or " & $#@ & () " . I think its

about how you get on in the world and your attitude toward your fellows

that carries the day. God didn't make me perfect and damn few

others.....but he did allow me the ability to laugh at life and find humor

in my " short' " comings and goings.......of which I claim my share.

God bless you Bob and keep the candle lit.

Amen!

I find many of the chapter names revolting (especially Micronaut) We need to

start within.

Isn't it a bit disingenuous of LPA to be so Anti the term Midget when we

ourselves have derogatory chapter names?

For Example " Mini- Gator " and " Motor-City- Micronaut " ?

I am not a Mini anything, no less a reptile, even if I did live in Florida.

Nor am I a Micronaut (what is a Micronaut anyway?) is that a small group of

space alien's that landed in the Detroit Metropolitan area and settled there

back in the 60's?

Before we continue to lambaste the media for deploying ignorance, maybe we

need to lead by example and change all those chapter names that connate a

'silly midgets' perception
