Guest guest
dear list, Definition time, Websters New World Dictionary, midget n. 1. a very small person 2. anything small of its kind adj. miniature You might not agree with most dictionary definitions such as the above. What would you expect if you were to ask your teacher or parent for a definition of the word. Lets look it up! So until you can change the definitions in all the dictionaries it will be hard to keep us (smaller/shorter people) out of the definition. As a group or majority of this list we may not like it for the way it was used in the past and now. When someone calls me a midget, I accept the fact they could have been taught that use right out of Websters book. Should I be offended at the person or the person (people) that taught them? I accept they realize I have a physical difference than the average person. I see that in other people myself. I can only choose to give them my opinion of what the word should be used for if I see needed. Find the source of their reasoning before you judge their opinion Thanks for reading this and may LPA grow in wisdom always, Pouliot
