This is a very tough topic which, in my view, has no right or wrong answer.

Personally, I decided a long time ago I wouldn't have children as I couldn't

live with seeing my child go through what I've gone through. But, I don't

think the other point of view is wrong. One thing I did want to comment on

what a comment from someone but I can't remember who ... someone said that

simply by her son's life, he is educating others. I remember my Mother's

answer to my questions of , " Why me, Mom? " She said something like... " Only

God knows the answer to that question and HE will tell you when you're in

heaven with HIM; but I'm sure one of his reasons was to help others

understand. " Well, I can tell you that answer did not sit well with me at

all... At the age of eight, I knew God didn't pick me out ... come on ... and

I didn't want to be here to educate others -- and I still feel the same way.

I would have preferred this answer to Why Me? " I don't know. But, we're

gonna make the best of it. You're going to have a good life. "

Just my thoughts.

Helene
