I am writing again to ask anyone about have back surgery that

required a fusion and a rod. I have undergone 3 surgeries, two on my

lumbar and one on my cervical. The last operation was done 5 years

ago and was a sucess. I have one again developed problems in my back

and legs and an MRI found that there is stenosis just above the

lumbar which is the thoracic. He has told me this would require a

fusion along with insertiing a rod. I am concerned as to what I will

loose and how I will be able to compensate for what I do loose. Has

anyone gone thru this type of surgery I would be interested in

finding some information. Thanks in advance.
