One thing I find helpful is when they ask in a job interview if any

accommodations are needed is to mention about the step stool rather than

mentioning on application about needing a stool to reach into file cabinet or

to rest feet on.

Most employers have step stools anyway at least the ones that I have worked

for did. If they didn't have the right kind I needed to get into file

cabinet or to rest feet on they ordered it. No big deal. They always can

use an extra step stool cause although we are short statured there are plenty

of bigger people who still have trouble reaching in top filing cabinet. :-)
