I'll try, Davey, but it might actually involve some thinking on your part

about mailing list dynamics in order for this to work.

In case you didn't get the memo, this list is unmoderated. This means that

anyone can subscribe and post at least 1 message before any action can be

taken against them (assuming the post violates Dan Kennedy's acceptability

limits). So no one should be surprised if there are occasionally

questionable posts.

After such a post, the list owner (Dan) can take one of several actions

against the poster. These actions include permanently banning posts from

that poster's email address, changing his/her settings so that anything

they post is run by the list owner for approval before appearing on the

list, or setting it up so they can receive messages but never post them.

For a broad-topic list of this size (well over a thousand subscribers),

moderating each and every post is highly impractical.

In the future, before firing off sarcastic and ill-worded examples of your

own misplaced anger, I would suggest that you 1) contact Dan privately if

you wish to voice a complaint against a particular poster, and 2) give Dan

a chance to do something about it.
