Guest guest
Well I was kinda surprised that no one has given an update of the event.I went and had a great time. The food was super - delish. The vendors offering food samples were Mariposa Bakery - http://www.mariposabaking.com/ sandwiches, penguinos (ho ho equivalent), polar bears (twinkie equivalent)Miglets GF Bakery http://www.migletsgf.com/ - cupcakes (red velvet cake), cookies, browniesPica Pica http://www.picapicakitchen.com/ those little maize cakes (I didn't try those because they had meat and chicken - but my non GF friend loved them)And the GF Beer. (my friend also tried that and said - tastes like beer) There were a ton of kids and people at the Scoreboard Plaza area. The food was really good. And they had the Camp Celiac people there. They had raffle tickets etc.I think that this was a really great event and i was really surprised that there were so many people attending.I have gone to various Special events at AT & T Park - Irish Night, African American Night, Law and Order Night - and for what I received at this event far outweighed the t-shirt and or hat that you get with the other nights for the same price.I think and really hope that this becomes a full on event at the park. I think it kicked butt!Melita
Guest guest
Agreed. I had a great time, was excited to see so many people there, and loved being able to drink a beer at the ballpark! I did try to Pica Pica maize cake and it was pretty good!
