Guest guest
My daughter will be turning 5 and is requesting a gluten free tiger cake. Does anyone have a recommendation for tasty (I usually make the Namaste cupcakes and everyone gobbles them up so this will be weird to not make the cake this year!), child friendly themed cakes near Redwood City? Thanks! (we'd also prefer a cake with no soy flour. We can handle soy lecithin and soy oil, but soy flour upsets our stomachs and makes my thyroid all wonky)

Guest guest
Jasmine, I run a custom-order bakery with my wife (she's a pastry chef), and we specialize in professionally decorated allergy-friendly cakes, including gluten-free cakes. Our gluten-free cakes are free of soy flour -- they are made with rice flour, sorghum flour, tapioca flour, and xanthan gum (you can also buy our gluten-free flour mix separately). Check out the gluten-free section of our web site at http://www.allergyfriendlypastries.com/gfproducts.html for a list of available cake and frosting flavors. You can also click the Photo Gallery tab to see examples of decorated cakes we've made. Place your order early, as our schedule fills up quickly. We don't have a retail shop, but custom orders can be picked up in Milpitas.
