You can subscribe to Pica Pica's newsletter (look for link at end of newsletter). We ate here a couple of weeks ago and really enjoyed the food, especially the empanadas and arepas. Not a fancy date-night kind of place, but perfect pretty much any other time!

Sent from my tin can and string. Please excuse mumbling and static.

Cooking Demo at Sonoma 7/24

We did a cooking demo at Sonoma's store in Union Square this past Saturday.

We made arepas and the Pepeada filling (grilled chicken salad with Guasacaca, creamy avocado).

Delicious and WOW, what a kitchen!!!

Arepa Jardinera

New filling on the menu! It's like a garden inside an arepa...

It is perfect for the summer AND a vegetarian's delight.

The arepa has a goat cheese and basil spread and filled with an arugula, carrot, rutabaga and green onion salad with a creamy mustard vinaigrette.

You can also have the filling as a salad.
