Fern,

Try alternating hot and cold - 10 minutes each (3 times) for an hour.. Got any BF & C? or MSM ? Take MSM 3 times a day, about 1000 mg each dose.. Got any cayenne salve?

What you go on hand?

Hi again!I am in need of some help for my DH's wrist. He has a large cyst on his wrist (inside of his R wrist, where you feel for a pulse). At times it is the size of a round grape about 1 inch in size. It is painful. He says that his lower part of his arm really hurts when this becomes inflammed. It was never this bad until he lifted 2 thousand pound boilers and just pulled a well this week (dead weight). I remember from my nursing days a man who had this in the ER and was given the choice of pounding it with a book or surgery. HMMM! I know he won't have surgery and I know he won't let me pound it with a book! So, anything naturally would be of great help! I have no clue of what to even try. Thanks in advance!Fern (who has had a couple of beautiful 80 degree sunny

Hi Fern,

Too, you might try using hot Castor oils packs on his wrist. Seems to

me there was a discussion about this awhile back on HR dealing with

Dorsal ganglion cysts. Most likely it is from his thumb joint. I would

definitely try the hot castor oil packs during the night (leave on all

night), get him eating more potassium foods (raw only), hot/cold

therapy at least twice a day along with using cayenne ointment or oil

to stimulate blood flow to the area. I do suppose that you could put

together an herbal poultice to use on his wrist as well. Maybe use some

comfrey and/or plantain leaves and make the poultice as hot as he can

stand it. Change it as it cools with fresh herbs but keep it moderately

hot. You could even mix the herbs in with the castor oil and just do

the whole thing at once. Do get him taking MSM though. At least 1 gram

per day if not more. You might also have him begin drinking lots of

fresh green leafy vegetable juices and fresh fruit juices. Lots of them

as they contain lots of needed organic minerals and potassium in

particular.

Keep us informed Fern and no book bashing OKAY! LOL

Those are very common, they are called ganglions. I get them occasionally myself. They will go away on there own, no need to smash it or cut it.
