Depending where you are going in the city, I would look at the Gluten Free Bay Area map on Google.As for "kid-friendly," I would say that depends on the age of your son and his tastes. The San Francisco Soup Company (several locations) is certainly that. My and my GF wife's new favorite, the totally GF Pica Pica Maize Kitchen (15th and Valencia) I would describe as being so. Of course, there's an In & Out burger joint at 333 Jefferson.
