Guest guest
Hello Pam I noticed you did some testing in NYC. Do you live nearby? My son Aedan is 3 years old as well and I am always looking to meet children who may have some of the same issues as our Aedan.
Guest guest
I work in NYC (for the most part from home) but I live in upstate new York. We recently moved. I recall we talked in the past about having the same doctor right? Dr. Campolattaro. He has quite a few patients with BPES.
Guest guest
Off the top of my head: Risottoteria - its an entirely gluten free restaurant and there is a deli in the chelsea market which serves gluten free sandwiches and bagels - some of the best GF bread I have ever tasted.. I think its the grainless baker ? There are tons of places in manhattan where you can get GF food - gf pizza, GF chinese food. Just google search gluten free NYC. > > Hi Everyone, > > Has anyone been to New York and have any recommendations for restaurants, > eats, etc? I'll be there 8 days, primarily on work. Guest guest
I second Risotteria - I was there a few years ago and it was heaven to have a beer and pizza in a restaurant with no worries. Good food. There are many others in NY that should keep you busy. Guest guest
And you should try and stop by Babycakes in the villagehttp://www.babycakesnyc.com/locations.html The cupcakes are scrumptious. And the staff is well versed in GF products.Be prepared for the heat and humidity. It is melting out there right now.
Guest guest
I’m from NJ and was first diagnosed back east. I’ve been to Risotteria many times and enjoy it! It’s in the Village. It was actually the first GF restaurant I ever ate at and I cried a little when they served the breadsticks at the beginning of the meal and I ordered a beer. It’s a really small venue but nice. I’ve also been to Sambuca & Bistango to name a few. There are a lot of places: Mozzarelli’s, Lumi, just google GF NYC and you’ll find a bunch. Have fun! Guest guest
We just got back from NYC a few weeks ago. I am attaching a table that I put together based on my research. We ate out very safely and had a great time. (We also went to Boston & Cape Cod. If anyone is heading out that way and would like that the 1.5 pages of restaurants I compiled, I would be happy to share.) -----Original Message----- >From: Tercovich <catchrenee@...> >Sent: Jul 8, 2010 6:28 PM > >Subject: [ ] NYC > >Hi Everyone, > >Has anyone been to New York and have any recommendations for restaurants, >eats, etc?
