Did anyone catch the M & M’s on the “gluten”

side of the table (gluten-free stuff was on one side; gluten-containing stuff

on the other)? Sent me on a quest to find out if something had changed,

since M & M’s are on my safe list. All I could figure out is that

they must have been the crispy kind. Also, there is some talk about the possibility

that the new pretzel variety has caused CC, although Mars says they are making

them on separate lines and only the holiday types would also be run on the

pretzel line.

I do wish the doctor had talked about the need for testing and

why it is important to get tested before going GF. When the host

mentioned going GF and feeling better, that would have been the perfect

time.

Did anyone catch the segment on gluten free diets Wednesday

morning? I believe the interest in this topic came about because of Chelsea

Clinton's gluten free wedding cake and people were curious as to why she had

one. I was very impressed by Dr. Raj's comments and knowledge of Celiac. She

definitely dispelled the thoughts that gluten free 'diets' are not a weight

loss kind of diet, but a necessary change for millions of Americans. Although

the fact that so many celebrities are opting out of gluten is great for us,

because it means more options will be opening up, it is important for people to

know this isn't a choice for so many of us.
