We've eaten quite a bit at the Palo Alto location and once at the Corte Madera

location and haven't gotten sick. (My husband did get sick from the San PF

Chang's.) We always emphasize gluten free when we order and explain that my

husband and daughter get really sick from gluten. We also double check when they

bring the order to our table and ask if it is a regular dish or a GF one even if

it is in the plate that has PF Chang's written on it. (I find that no matter

where we go, if we ask if something is GF, the server is more likely to just say

" yes " to agree rather than stop to think about his/her answer.) I always make

sure to check the sauces though as well and I either ask the server to go back

and verify with the chef or I send them back if they seem too dark (which may

indicate they used regular soy sauce). So far, we haven't had a problem. (Of

course, we always express our gratefulness and appreciation for them taking care

to make sure the meal they serve us is GF and safe to eat.)
