Found the chicken meatballs, but couldn't find the Butter Chicken. Was it frozen or in the fresh prepared food area?

Also found (in the fresh prepared food section) Blount Turkey Chili - marked gluten free. Haven't tried the meatballs yet, but the chili was good.

Hello,

I was just at Costco in Danville last week, and bought a couple of things to try. They were both delicious!

Maya Kaimal (brand) Butter Chicken - It is based on the Indian dish, and tastes fabulous. It says medium spice, but it's not spicy at all. My kids loved it too. We ate it with Basmati rice. I read the ingredients and bought it to try, and then as I opened it, noticed that on the back it said Gluten Free. Yippee! Can't remember the price, but it wasn't that bad for a meal for me and my two 9 year old, and we had leftovers enough to feed me and the kids lunch.

Rocky The Range Chicken (brand) Gourmet Chicken Meatballs - Says Gluten Free right on the front, No antibiotics, hormones, and vegetarian fed. The flavor was Sweet Basil and Parmesan. The package has almost 3 pounds of meatballs and is divided into two pouches. I used one pouch to make a big batch of sauce that fed four adults and four 9 year old kids and we had enough leftover for dinner for four. The other pouch is in the freezer. Again, can't remember the price, but definitely a value.

Happy shopping!

The butter chicken was in the refrigerated section where the meatballs are, but there is a section of ethnic food and it was in there. I also got a box of Indian lentils Madras. Indiv pouched you heat and serve. Yum! Please excuse my brevity. Sent from mobile. On Oct 30, 2010, at 9:20 PM, Cheryl and Jim Lucas <csjdlucas@...> wrote:
