Guest guest
Stacey, I know how frustrated you must be with all of this. I was diagnosed with the autoimmune disease Polymyositis (inflammation of the muscles). And with everything happening to me at that time I was also tested for CD. So apparently my numbers were high and my gastro told me to go gluten free.Well it has been 8 years since my diagnosis - and things are pretty good. I also have a really great rheumatologist. Not sure if you are in the City, but her name is Targoff and she is with CPMC. So just realize that a lot of these diseases overlap considerably. The Docs are not quite positive why this happens except that if you have one AI you can get others. So hang in there.MelitaPS - there is another group for all myositis diseases ----OurMyositis-subscribe Just shoot an email to that and you can get more of your questions answered about your sjogrens.
