Guest guest
I buy at the Sebastopol and the SF WF. In Sebastopol, GF breads are separate from other breads, both in a freezer section and unfrozen. Also, when I've seen the shelf empty, a staff member has been able to find some in the stockroom. Generally speaking, the Sebastopol store is only so-so on GF goods. I also shop at the SF California St location. This store has a GF cabinet at the south end of the bakery case. It stocks far more of the Bakehouse baked goods than Sebastopol does -- not only bread. You could e-mail each store that you're near, asking about usual availability. I've seen the Bakehouse products in other stores outside northern CA, too; I assumed they were easy to come by. Harper - After previous posts to this forum, I have looked for Whole Foods house brand GF breads in Cupertino & without success. Each Whole Foods has the option to stock what their store decides on, so there is no guarantee that your local WF will carry a particular item you might be searching for. At which location(s) have you found WF-brand GF bread and in what section of the store? Thanks for you advice!
Guest guest
I buy mine at the Redwood City Whole Foods. I have been a total pest and I know a few others who have also bothered the store and as a result the Redwood City created a gluten free section but it also stocks a lot more GF items than I see at other WF's. The bread's in the frozen section at the Redwood City store. The San Mateo store also has the bakehouse items in the frozen section. From: Harper <flatcat9@...>Subject: Re: [ ] Whole Foods Bakehouse breads -- where? Guest guest
The Los Altos WF has these breads in the GF freezer near the bakery.
