we would like to thank the many people in LPA that have written us words of

encouragement and printed reviews regarding Matt's book " Against Tall

Odds " . Since many of you are still asking, we thought we would put out a

short message for the entire list.

The book is now available through LPA. As the author, Matt was able to get

a number of copies at a discount. The price will be $16.95 (plus $1.95

shipping and handling). This is about three dollars cheaper than

Amazon.com, and $1.50 of this will go to LPA. Margulies will be

handling the sale of the book. An order form is in the current issue of

This year has been -- and continues to be -- a wonderful year for positive

media exposure for LP's. As many of you already know, we're ecstatic about

Dr. Ains being featured on 20/20. Keep an eye out for the Roloff Family

on NBC's Later Today show tentatively scheduled for Wed., December 9th, and

a feature in People Magazine later this month.

Thanks again for all the personal comments we've received and keep up the

lively discussions on this list - it's a testament to the fact that we're

just people... like everybody else.
