A little of this, a little of that ...

Anyone who says we have an overpopulation problem has never driven through

Nebraska. Or Iowa, for that matter.

The fastest way to convince people you did something on purpose is to try to

convince them it was an accident.

Hotel gripe: Amenities are nice. Hot water is nicer.

Added hotel gripe: Maids who understand the meaning of the " Do Not Disturb "

sign are nicest of all.

Staying up until 3:00 in the morning is fun. Just make sure you don't have

any plans before noon the following day.

I don't care what Ventura says about the layout of the streets, I

found getting around the Twin Cities a far sight easier than getting around

Denver.

The day before National is not the ideal time to break your battery charger.

The Mall of America is a really big mall. Other than that, I don't get all

the hype. Still, Camp Snoopy was the most fun I've had in recent memory.

National is not as much fun without someone you love. (The person to whom

this is directed, knows who she is.

And my final random thought ... oh, the hell with it, let me just go start

checking airfares to Toronto.

Amy and Laurie, it was a pleasure meeting you. Ruth and Casey, good to see

you again. And just to clarify for anyone who missed it: my little pratfall

really was an unscripted accident.
