Hi Eden- Since you were at the s Valley Market (Ben Lomandaffiliate) I’ll share with you that the Pizza place (Santa Cruz Pizza Co) hasGF pizza.  They import their crust and have a separate prep area.  They do usethe same oven, but they back the GF ones on the tray it comes in and use aseparate slicer.  Next door to that is Jia Tella’s which is a Cambodian placethat marks the items on the menu with a little symbol.  They’ve been this waysince they opened and also carry redbridge. Glad you found the GF freezer…the stuff’s a little pricier, butconvenient seeing as I work across the street. - From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of Eden Sent: Tuesday, October 05, 2010 7:22 PM Subject: Re: [ ] CD damage can persist for a long time I would have to agree with this at least in my owncircumstance. For awhile there I was starting to wonder if there was somethingelse wrong with me. While I have certainly felt better, and absolutely know thedifference of a gluten free lifestyle versus not, I have yet to have thatwondrous feeling of well being on a gluten free diet. If I had to admit, in allhonesty, there I times when I feel I might be better served with the chronicslow illness symptoms versus what is now a hurricane of pain when glutened.I have no doubt my body is also not near recovery. I am 46,female, and can look back at all the mysterious illness's I had and know it hasbeen a lifetime of gluten intolerance. I have only been GF for 3 years nowand while I do feel a little better, can't say it's all worth it. And yes, I doknow the extensive diseases I am slowing or preventing; it's what keeps me frommy comfort food. It would just feel a little more worth it if I actually feltbetter. I think for those with long term damage, the repair is equally as longterm. And on a very POSITIVE note, I would like to sharethat in my quest to find another less crowded route home I happened upon BenLomand Market which is actually in s Valley. Upon entering the market inthe bakery section, there is a WHOLE separate refrigerator right bythe front door with nothing but GF foods. Cinnamon buns, pizza dough, bagels, ravioli, cheese filled shells, lemon muffins, chocolate muffins etc! It's thebest thing you've seen in the bakery section in a long time! I actuallyfelt loved. Support and enjoy!
