LOL! thats funny michelle :) i have a serious problem with cake

too.... for the past few days i havent been eating properly at all

and yep, some of my transgressions have included cake! i hope that

it is all gone now

enjoy a piece of that birthday cake... sounds awesome! and then give

the rest of it away to someone else!

one of my sons is celebrating his birthday next weekend.... he has

invited a bunch of little kids over so hopefully they eat all of the

cake and there is none left over for me to pig out on.

:*carolyn.

we got our daughter's 1st b-day party cake from " let them eat cake " in Milpitas.

It was delicious! (although the 12 inch was way too big for our gathering of ~20

people - next time we will definitely get the 10 inch cake). It was chocolate

cake with cherry filling and vanilla frosting and very cute lavender and

turquoise flowers on top. The glutenoids could not distinguish it from any

gluten laden concoction - it was moist and very tasty - and it held up nicely in

the fridge for the next 4 days that we were eating the leftovers.

we also had cake from them for our baby shower that my work threw for us.

My wife and I run a small custom-order bakery called Let Them Eat Cake: The

Allergy-Friendly Patisserie, and we specialize in cakes made without common

allergens (include gluten and nuts). We don't have a retail shop, but orders can

be delivered in the San area or picked up in Milpitas.

We've been very busy lately so I recommend at least 3-4 weeks advance notice.

You can check out our web site at http://www.allergyfriendlypastries.com/.

Thanks,

Kraft

Thanks! My wife should get the credit though...she's the pastry chef (she went

through the baking & pastry program at Professional Culinary Institute in

), I just handle the business side.

Most of our cakes are decorated using only (dairy-free) buttercream, we actually

don't use gumpaste or fondant very often.
