Guest guest
we got our daughter's 1st b-day party cake from " let them eat cake " in Milpitas. It was delicious! (although the 12 inch was way too big for our gathering of ~20 people - next time we will definitely get the 10 inch cake). It was chocolate cake with cherry filling and vanilla frosting and very cute lavender and turquoise flowers on top. The glutenoids could not distinguish it from any gluten laden concoction - it was moist and very tasty - and it held up nicely in the fridge for the next 4 days that we were eating the leftovers. http://www.allergyfriendlypastries.com/ we also had cake from them for our baby shower that my work threw for us. We don't have a retail shop, but orders can be delivered in the San area or picked up in Milpitas. We've been very busy lately so I recommend at least 3-4 weeks advance notice. Guest guest
Thanks! My wife should get the credit though...she's the pastry chef (she went through the baking & pastry program at Professional Culinary Institute in ), I just handle the business side. Most of our cakes are decorated using only (dairy-free) buttercream, we actually don't use gumpaste or fondant very often. > > > > where it the best place in the south bay (san jose or los gatos area) to > get a birthday cake that is gf and nutfree? thanks kc > > > > My wife and I run a small custom-order bakery called Let Them Eat Cake: The > Allergy-Friendly Patisserie, and we specialize in cakes made without common > allergens (include gluten and nuts).
