Guest guest
Interesting you mentioned BJs. Ours (Concord) has stopped having their gluten free menu all together. They still offer allergen info and a gluten free pizza, but no GF menu. :-(However I just found out that Yan Can Cook (Pleasant Hill, Yan's restaurant) has many gluten free offerings! I'm so excited to be able to have Chinese again.LynnOn Oct 15, 2010, at 7:12 AM, CalicoSue wrote: Okay, I was initially excited because Cheesecake Factory was looking into a gluten-free menu. Instead, they just published their new allergen guide. It's very easy to read and points out all of the allergens, including gluten. It is not on their website yet, but if you type in Cheesecake Factory allergen guide, it immediately comes up on the internet. Here's the problem - there are very few menu items or entrees that we can order! Virtually 95% of their menu includes gluten! In a few of the items, you can ask for no sauce and it magically makes the dish gluten-free. Shoot, I can stay home and make a plain grilled anything for dinner and save about $20! I'm so disappointed! I'm going to email them and ask them to create a specific gluten-free menu for us. I talked with a manager at BJ's, and their profits are definitely up due to their new gluten-free menu and pizza. I'll definitely bring up this point with them as well. Guest guest
Can you please post what the gluten free offerings are at Yan Can Cook? There's one over in Santa Clara. Thanks!
