Guest guest
Note: I attached the post I made yesterday requesting the suggestions -- below the post for 7/18 is the post I made today 7/19 desparately asking for suggestions. My email: kajo119@... - Cyndi Yesterday's Post 7/18/00: I was wondering if anyone out there did have a recommendation for an implement to help so this person get an answer, as I didn't even know what a beta tester was - I went to the web address but it doesn't say. My recommendation is buying underwear one size too big -- if they wear an 8, I would buy a size 10 (Hanes for little girls or boys) they are all cotton and very light material and they are a little big but they can pull them up and down with great ease. And mine usually wait until the last minute so it works out that way also with the larger size underwear and as far as clothes -- knits with elastic waistbands. I stayed away from overalls they are cute but my children found them frustrating in their younger years as the straps drop in the toilet, and it takes awhile for little fingers to unhook etc. In their younger years they want to do it by themselves so I needed clothes that were easy to operate. I bought my daughter knits and dresses with bloomers and put my son in knit outfits. Anyway, I went to the website to inquire about hygiene implements and there are quite a few (which I was needing for my children) to have in case of a sore back or not particularly feeling flexible that day thus not being able to reach to wipe themselves completely. I know sometimes in the morning when they first wake up their bodies are stiff (so is mine) and I would like to make it easier for them to wipe. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions from their own experience or their child's etc. One that might be compact so if they go on a trip it will be easily concealed. " 7/19/00 post: Please help me since I posted to the list yesterday - I have received numerous inquiries on what it the best -- compact -- easy to clean implement and best cost for the money for LP's to use when wiping. There are many desparate parents who need this information. I know this is probably a sensitive subject because people may not want let others know they need to use the device, but I am glad to see there are others who have the same needs as my family does and if anyone out there can make recommendations I will keep it private and handle your responses with the utmost discretion. I will then make the recommendation to the list coming from me -- once I receive your suggestions. Otherwise if not what I will do and am willing to pay for is to order every single implement available -- test them and make my own recommendation -- maybe that way I will be able to recommend one for adults and children.
