Guest guest
I wonder how it would work to steam the raviolis (preferably in a silicone steamer) or even to microwave them with a little water? This might heat them adequately without letting them fall apart. Would nuking make the cheese gummy? I can only wonder, as I have no access to this pasta. It sounds lovely. Here's my post about the gluten-free ravioli from Costco: http://www.bookofyum.com/blog/california-news-gluten-free-ravioli-at-sunnyvale-and-mountain-view-costco-5929.html I'd like to add the Costco locations offering the ravioli to my post. So far besides Mountain View and Sunnyvale we've got Danville, San - anywhere else? This is so cool! -
Guest guest
A steamer sounds like it'd be worth a shot. I have one and some leftover product so I might give that a try tomorrow.I am eating mine for the first time right now. Boiled for a little over 4 minutes. Had one disintegrate at the very end of the boil, but that was no major loss; the rest remained intact and they taste delicious. I topped mine with olive oil, marinara sauce, and salt-cured nitrite-free bacon, and a nice glass of Marietta Old Vine Red. Oh mommy, these are sooooo good!
