Perhaps where some of the confusion for others > came in is that Blue Ice does make an oil where they combine the CLO > and the HVBO. Okay, you're right about that. Blue Ice does make a combo CLO/HVBO: Blue Ice™ Gold Therapeutics, unflavored - 180 ml/ 180 dose, $38.90. Back when I researched this, the capsules were the only thing available in the combo form, not the liquid - and we need liquid for little people. This liquid should work in lieu of buying CLO and HVBO separately. I would give 2 doses, twice per day for teeth/mouth issues for children - double for adults. > Ps-did you address the probiotic here? I was wondering what you used > for that. I have acidophilus in the fridge, but thought you might > have uses something else..... While we did the protocol, I used milk kefir grains and kefir'd raw milk. Making it taste like something other than Ferment is something else. We didn't have much success with that. I purchased Bio-Kult, which was developed by Dr. Natasha Mc-Bride for kids with autism. It worked great for us. http://www.nutrivene.com/view_item.php?ProductID=226 & What you're looking for is probiotic that has multiple strains. Bio-Kult has 14. There are other brands that have just as many or more and I've seen at least one at our local Sprouts for about the same price as Bio-Kult - I think it had 14 strains. One more thing - if you're giving your kid store bought milk (pasteurized), throw it out. Find a way to get raw milk from Save Your Dairy in Queen Creek. It is alive, full of natural probiotic and 16 bjillion times better than the other stuff. -vanessa
Guest guest
I¹m not giving him any milk. WE¹ve had the raw milk before. He used to get a constant runny nose from ALL milk(even though he rarely consumed it)...i never correlated it ever until I poured him a big glass one time (b efore going home) when we went to pick it up from the dairy. My dh is very opposed to me givng the kids raw milk. Since the child in question doesn¹t drink milk at all (he eats tons of broccoli) I quit worrying over this. I did continue to get raw milk for me sometimes. Chantelle Ps-I¹m quite willing to try the raw milk on him again to see if he¹s outgrown the runny nose reaction, (and I¹m not even that concerned about that , I don¹t¹ feel, at this point....since he¹s been cleared up from it for awhile), but I¹m not sure how to deal with dh. A little reluctant to be sneaky about it, but tempted to do so! Since that would really help in terms of natural probiotic and I at least know where and how to get it and can pay cash . Pss-thanks for the tip about Sprouts. As soon as he wakes up , I think I will go there and start looking for this stuff and then make a trip out to the dairy (for me.....maybe he will want to share what I¹m having ) and then go from there And one final ps-I¹ve forgotten suddenly where you are located. Is it in Tucson or are you in a different state entirely? > > > One more thing - if you're giving your kid store bought milk > (pasteurized), throw it out.
