Guest guest
I started a new job yesterday and it went ok except I was rather disappointed in the actions of a fellow co-worker. When it was time for lunch. I had gone to the lunchroom and I noticed one particular male co-worker point and make gestures about me. He was very brazen about it. I was quite surprised since most of the people I met where friendly. I was talking to some people at my lunch table and they saw my frustration with what had occurred. I did ask another fellow co-worker there what was the name of that person and what department they worked at. They told me. I was thinking about what to do since it was first day and didn't want to start anything, but figure what this person did wasn't right at all. One of my supervisors asked to see me which I was nervous about cause I had thought I had done something wrong as far as my work. I had found out that someone had reported what this person did to the girl who works in the same department as me who was showing me the job and she then told my supervisor who is a personnel supervisor. My supervisor told me that it wasn't right what he did and had spoken to this individual. Although I didn't like the actions of that fellow co-worker. I was glad that he was so open about what he had done because it showed the type of person he was rather than keep it hidden or act polite when deep down not. Also I was glad that someone cared enough about what had happened and told my supervisor about it. Hopefully this person realized what he done was wrong. If not at least people are aware of his actions. Helen
