Guest guest
Celiac Meeting in Santa Cruz Saturday, January 22, 2011 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Hall, Garfield Park Village 721 Bay Street, Santa Cruz The next meeting of the Santa Cruz Celiac Support Group will be on Saturday, January 22, 2011, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The meeting will be held in Hall at Garfield Park Village, 721 Bay Street, Santa Cruz. Parking is available on surrounding streets: Continental Street, Gharkey Street, Dufour Street, and Columbus Street. There is a back entrance from Gharkey Street; from that entrance, Hall is beyond the green with the flagpole. This meeting is free and open to all who are interested in celiac disease, gluten intolerance, or the gluten-free diet, including new and experienced celiacs. We will have some fun testing our not-so-trivial celiac pursuits, but there will also be time for open discussion and questions. We will finish with a gluten-free potluck lunch. Please bring the recipe, a list of ingredients, or the packaging (for commercially-prepared food), as many group members have multiple sensitivities. If you are very new to the diet or are unable to prepare something, please join us anyway; we always have plenty of food to share.
