Guest guest
Went there for dinner last weekend and the food was amazing. I made the reservations through opentable, where I have a standing comment that " One in our party is gluten free, " and when our server came over, she made a comment about how smart that was. She had already spoken to the chef and he had several options available to me that day. I had his fresh, homemade, gluten free pasta, and for Saturday it was artichoke ravioli. Very flavourful! Also, a nice amount, even though I'm a big eater, and I believe $20, which seemed average for the menu. I did however order a veggie on the side (brussel sprouts! yum) which were cooked in a wood fired oven...but NOT the one where do their pizzas! They took wonderful care of me, and the chef even came out to make sure everything was to my liking. It was! And everyone else at the table was very pleased as well. My other half stuck to gluten free that evening as well, and she ordered the short ribs ( " ample and tender, yet not savory " ) but was more impressed with the polenta and veggies that came with them... I'd recommend this to anyone in the area looking for a semi-upscale restaurant. (I should note that people were quite casual there and there was live music in the bar area at the front.) They also have a nice outdoor area in the front that was crowded, so I'd suggest reservations, at least for a weekend evening. I'm not sure if that's usual or if it was due to Saturday evening being beautiful here on the peninsula. Next on our list: Town. Does anyone else want to join in?
