I have protein with xylitol in it and it says it comes from corn. I

was wondering if anyone knew if it can cause gas. Thank You, Christie

I bought 10 pounds of  Xylitol and it is made from corn. Is this a

problem?

Oh, yes, and diarrhea too. I've been told that the birch sugar xylitol

doesn't, but never tried it.

I think there is only one company that sells real birch sugar xylitol.

Does Stevia cause gas? I have two brands of egg white protein. One has

xylitol which I just learned is Corn based (Kosher corn, specifically)

Produced using corn that is non-GMO (not genetically engineered)

Naturally extracted and non-allergenic, pharmaceutical grade. The

other protein has stevia.

Thanks, Christie

We use this stuff:

http://www.iherb.com/ProductDetails.aspx?pid=-3413159961540304832

in smoothies, baking, over raw strawberries and whatever else I can

think of. Hasn't given me any trouble - but now I think I want to

research it more and find out what, if any, is the difference between

the stuff from corn and the stuff from birch.
