Guest guest
Sprouts in Sunnyvale (on the 111 East El Camino) is having its "Gluten-Free Jubilee" sale Oct 13-27. The message on their email list today says, "... with 25% off thousands of tagged gluten-free products."Because of Sprout's generally lower prices and excellent variety of GF foods, we have not been back to Whole Paycheck since Sprouts opened except for a few GF items that Sprouts doesn't carry. One other note: Sprouts has an online guide to its GF products (just like WF and TJ's) at: http://sprouts.com/DOCS/GF-WF_Guide.pdf HogleFreelance academic librarianInstructor, online researchEmail: jjhogle@...Web: (under de- and re-construction) www.blueroom.comReality ain't what you think it isArt Graphics & Photographs[http://www.blueroom.com/realityaint.htm]From: Victor Dolcourt <vdolcourt@...> Sent: Thu, October 7, 2010 3:43:03 PMSubject: [ ] Re: Recommendation for Dr. in South Bay/San /Palo Alto Area Barb, Stanford has a good past reputation for Celiac disease care. But if the staffing does not meet your needs, there are other good choices. Depending upon exactly were you live, Palo Alto Medical Foundation - Mountain View Office has a number of very good board certified GEs. Mine is Jay Laidenheim, and I recommend him highly. PAMF has automated medical records, so you can see your lab results as soon as your doctor sees them. Your doctor will also quickly email his/her evaluation of the tests. PAMF management has implemented customer satisfaction criteria, and that results in fast notification. I've heard that people are also highly satisfied with the celiac care they've received from Santa Clara Kaiser. But I'm not with Kaiser, so I can't give you more than generalities and what I've heard. Hopefully, you will locate a GE that can take good care of you. Vic-Sunnyvale > > > > > I'm newly diagnosed (May of this year) and I'm not happy with my existing general GI. I've been to the Stanford Celiac "clinic" but is seems to be just one doctor who only works part-time. After my visit to the Stanford Clinic, I receive no recommendation for follow up and had to pester him for weeks to get test results. So that doesn't seem to be a good option for getting quality long-term care. > > > > I am looking for an MD or DO.
