Hi, My daughter is only 9 and has achalasia. When all of her symptoms started one of the things that really bothered her was her stomach. We found out she was constipated. It could have been the lack of fiber in her diet since she was eating so little. Don't know if this is anything related to you ??? a1980nnh <hunt_n@...> wrote: Hi, I am hoping someone out there can give me some info. I have had Achalasia for almost 15 years. For the last few years every

1-2 months I will get very bad stomach cramps. They will last one night, and then my stomach is very sore for a few days. It was not happening often enough to really worry me, but over Thanksgiving the cramps lasted for 3 days. My doctor does not seem to think it is related to my Achalasia. I am trying to decide if I should go to a specialist. It has been way too long since I have been checked out by a specialist. Has anyone else experienced stomach cramps?

I don't remember others saying this is a problem with achalasia.

However, even if some others do share this how would you know your

cramping was caused by the same thing as their's? I would still get it

checked out in case it is unrelated. This is also the case with chest

pain. Just because achalasia can cause chest pain is no reason not to

get it checked out. Having achalasia does not prevent us from also

having a heart problem or something else that would also cause chest pain.

You do not mention how much coconut oil you are taking, how you are

taking it, or what else is in your daily diet.
