I haven't posted here before but I've been reading this forum for at least a

year.  I know that what I am going to say (under 1 and B) is likely to bring

very unpleasant responses, but I just have to do it.  And it's OK . . . I've

lived through worse . . . so feel free to hit me with your best shot.

First, as I lurker, I have to ask:  Is " Duncan Shaw " the same person as " Duncan

Crow " ?  I can't remember reading anything about Duncan Shaw, so I'm thinking

that I'm missing something.

And:

1)  Couldn't you all agree to disagree before terabytes of bandwidth are

consumed with your disagreements?  I really want to learn about the many

benefits of CO, but honestly, there are only so many times people can make the

same point before redundancy is reached.

and

B)  The other day I had to drill through SEVENTY-ONE pages of repeated

comments.  Couldn't you TRY to limit your posts to your comments . . . and

perhaps the precise comment to which you are referring?  I know it takes a

little more time but we already know the subject of the post, and if we are

interested in seeing any background we might have missed we can go to the

website and find them.

That's it.  If I've opened an ikky can of worms with this post, I apologize to

everyone, and I'll go back to my lurker status and never say another word.  But

I won't stop reading, no matter how annoyed you get.

I pretty much agree with you. At least I wish people would trim all

the material not pertaining to their comment before sending the email.

The problem is that many humans think that if they got in the last

word, that they " won " the argument.
