Guest guest
Hi Everyone – My mother in law lives near Oakland and offered to pick up some Mariposa bread for us. She then very excitedly said she would bring over a new ‘rye’ bread made by Mariposa. Can anyone confirm what they are using in this new bread? I am assuming it is a bread that tasted like rye but with different grains? Any ideas? This of course was all a great reminder of how we need to carefully monitor what our kids are fed down to the tiniest ingredient….even when we think someone fully understands their condition there are oversights. This one is puzzling because my MIL is also GF and so often talks about avoiding wheat, barley, rye and oats. Conformations on Mariposa would be great. Thank you, Cara
Guest guest
It is a mock rye -obviously not real rye as rye has gluten. I believe everything that mariposa makes is gluten free. I've had it and it's quite good. > > Hi Everyone - > > > > My mother in law lives near Oakland and offered to pick up some Mariposa > bread for us.
