Guest guest
Does this article fully recognize that RA is an autoimmune disorder, and that CD is an autoimmune disorder? I don't see much of either -- at a fast read, it seems to present eating GF as an allergic imperative, not an autoimmune one. I personally have experienced this and have seen it in some of my patients too. Here's a link to a good article by Dr. Wangen and his website. He's got a good site with great information. http://tiny.cc/wctdf -- Bonnie Presti Food Allergy Consultant Owner, The Sensitive Diner 408-507-7037 http://thesensitivediner.com
Guest guest
Dr. Wangen spoke to our gluten intolerance group a couple of months ago. Dr. Wangen and Kupper from NW Gluten Intolerance Group are the two best speakers we have ever had. He was very knowledgeable and a good speaker. Guest guest
I don't want to second guess, but my interpretation is that he says they are both autoimmune disorders AND that symptoms of both can be alleviated with a GF diet. You may want to contact him directly; he's very approachable!
