Thanks, Tess

Dr, Fife explained the RBD difference in his book, but

when I saw the cold pressed description from Swansons.

I thought I had something different. Thank you for

clarifying cold pressed v. cold process. I guess I

will need to find another source. I did like the

price, but Copra explained that. After thinking about

it, Swansons said something else that bothered me.

They could not tell me who the manufaturer was due to

a contractual agreement. Why would a manmufacturer not

want their name known?

Mike

You have raised an interesting question, dear Mike.

Over here, in HK, dubious products flooding the market may not be

interested in revealing their sources. And distributors of star

products would guard their source info like a gold mine.

We do not have any agreement concerning revealing or not revealing

names. We do not re-package our products: anybody who gets our VCO or

indeed any other product can shop from the sources directly or indeed

do business with them. Our 'business' is to promote Fair Trade, and

through that, help improve the lot of the less privileged.

Maybe 'real' business has a different set of rules ...

Do you live in Hong Kong. I have been here for 19+ years.

Cheers, Doug

Yes, dear Doug, working here since 2001.

You can find me in Sai Kung (Sundays at Tai Po Farmers' Market) except

in June, when I go home to say 'hi' to my cherry tree.

Wow! 19+ years! Old HK!
