I found a place that sells coconut oil in panama city in mercado de caladonia was $2.00 for a bottle looks like half pint. The man is Issac and cell #6 565 3271. it's not a nice area but you can park next to his kiosco for a quick purchase! I brought some Nutiva vco with me , it's the best I've tried so far. Netrition.com will ship from albany NY to you, although they have great prices it will cost a lot to ship to panama. I have not tried to make my own oil yet. vco comes from green coconuts, I BUY THESE FOR .25 CENTS EACH. I read you need to grind up the coconut meat and put in a covered container for 24-36 hours it then ferments and seperates then you can scpoop the oil from the top. Panamaian people will boil the meat until it seperates. Tim

Guest guest
I've tried to make coconut oil by myself, without heating. I put the coconut milk in a bowl and let it for 24 hours, no sign of oil. can anyone please tell me, how to make it right? thanks a lot
