Kerrigold/ Grass Fed Liver in Arizona

Haven¹t checked email again yet, but wanted to say that I did get the

Kerrigold butter. It¹s taste reminds me of something, but I cant quite

figure out what.... I was surprised at the texture and taste. It works

though.... :) not unpleasant, just very different for some reason than what

I was expecting. I guess almost too reminiscent of margarine, but because I

know it IS healthy and is not margarine, I can get past that. Yeah, I think

that¹s it. It reminds me of going to other folks houses growing up and they

would serve Parkay. LOL (that brand of margarine was a bit different from

the rest)

Anyway, drew was really excited about HIS butter. He was acting like he

wanted to eat it in the store and in the car. I think the taste difference

took him aback a bit too. (I hid my reaction from him(actually I tasted it

first at a different point in time)) but he still ate it. So we both enjoyed

that together and then we enjoyed grass fed meat together. (he REALLY REALLY

Got excited about eating that!) (oh and this is neither here nor there, but

the butter we had before I knew about this kerrigold was special to me. I¹m

really picky about butter for some reason, so I had found only one kind that

I liked before. But again, no problem with getting past that. I¹m just so

excited that I CAN get the right butter in stores! They had an unsalted and

a salted. We bought the unsalted and then salted it with Real Salt.....

No grass fed liver of any kind available though, so I bought some cod liver

oil while there to use until the other arrives. But now I¹m afraid to use

it, because I¹m not sure what the balance between the A and the D is

SUPPOSED to be???? Because I know that is what distinguishes the Blue Ice

brand. Does anyone know? I am thinking of taking back what I bought, since I

haven¹t opened it. (it is Garden of Life brand, I¹m pretty sure)(it was the

ONLY brand at all of CLO that I could find at sprouts)

Also, has Carlson¹s brand, buy any chance, IMPROVED in this area?(A and D

ratio) I found out Hi-Health has the Carlsons and studied all that out.

(while the young clerk was also telling me in a very knowledgeable way about

why it was so good). I didn¹t ³buy that² (what he was saying) of course

until I know if that¹s really true. He talked all about how it has more A

and how that¹s what makes it such a good brand. So I really need to know if

there is any possibility of me using the Carlson¹s and that being okay.....

I can get the product info now if you need it in order to know. Hi-Health

is not at all what I prefer for a health food store. We used to have a good

one really close to my house and it had been around for like 25 years or

more and it recently closed. It was such a useful and good store and I

sorely miss it.....

There is another health food store by Sprouts that I meant to go in after

Sprouts, but shopping with my little guy took so much longer than I expected

that by the time I was done I just had to hurry home to get the sprouted

bread put away before going to pick up my older guy.

Just thought I would report how it went. I was hoping to have time to visit

some other stores, so will try to do that soon.....

Yuck, the only organic butter available here tastes like margarine, and

I can't get past it. That margarine taste makes me nauseous, and I could

not get used to it.

I guess Kerrigold is not going to be on my order list, LOL.
