Bonnie Re: Re: coconut oil and candida I would agree..excpet that obviously monolaurin, by itself in larger dosages, can do some things that coconut oil cannot do. Monolaurin is even being used as a preservative and cleaner/disinfectant. There are countless examples of this. Grape seed extract or pine bark extract come to mind. I prefer many things as a " whole food " , but there are things that can be better- extracted.
