The Grand Cafe at the Hotel Monaco on Geary St in San Francisco theater district

I just had to write to tell you how wonderful the Grand Cafe is especially for

those of us who can eat neither gluten nor dairy. I had the most wonderf roasted

duck with an incredible and extremely flavorful citrus reduction sauce. Amazing.

It is so refreshing to not have to order things totally plain for fear of having

a horrible reaction. They are very sensitive to all allergies and they ask you

on the menu to state your allergies. They have great salads and also the most

amazing fruit sorbets for dessert. Of course non gluten free people are in

heaven because all of the food is wonderful. The entrees are from low to mid

20's but it's always nice not to feel deprived but actually totally satisfied on

a special night out.
