U.C. San Francisco Medical Center, North Bay Celiacs and the Santa Cruz and Oakland Celiac Support Groups are pleased to announce:

HR Green, M.D., will speak in the Bay Area November 11th and 12th

HR Green, MD, Director, Celiac Disease Center at Columbia University

will offer two talks in the Bay Area. Dr. Green is the author of "Celiac Disease: A Hidden Epidemic," and is one of a few physicians in the United States with intense clinical and academic interest and expertise in celiac disease. The Bay Area community is delighted to have the opportunity to hear from this internationally renowned celiac expert. Dr. Green will answer questions from the audience after his talk. Thursday, November 11, Dr. Green will speak in San Francisco from 5:30-6:30 PM, followed by Q & A. Registration is from 5:00-5:30 PM. Reservations for this event are not necessary as

Cole Hall seats 378 people. A $5 donation will be requested to cover the cost of the room; any remainder will be donated to the Celiac Disease Center at Columbia University. The Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition at U.C. San Francisco Medical

Friday, November 12, Dr. Green will speak in Carmel from

6:00-7:30 PM. The event will take place in the Carpenter Hall meeting room at the Sunset Cultural Center in Carmel. The entrance to Carpenter

Hall is located on Mission Street between 8th and 10th Avenues. Park in the city public parking lot on the southwest corner of Mission Street

and 8th Avenue (free after 6 pm) or in parking at Sunset Center. Carpenter Hall is about 1/2 block from 8th Avenue on the west side of Mission Street. Directions and a map .

Reservations are recommended to guarantee your seat and to help our planning, but are not absolutely required. You can make reservations online at http://event.pingg.com/DrGreenCarmel .
