Guest guest
Ms. Suzi, I have heard of it, but never thought to try it at the time. Cage is chewing on any and everything (except mama!) that he can get his mouth on, so I think I'll go RIGHT NOW and put one on the top shelf, myself. Thanks for reminding me. And, I have no earthly idea why or how it would work. This right here made me think of something else I want to run by yall... When Abby was around Cage's age (four months), she got thrush or thrash....yeast in her mouth. We tried EVERYTHING we could think of, and no help. We even put this purple stuff in her mouth that my grandmother went somewhere and bought, supposed to be all natural. Now, I know it was venetian or genetian violet or well, yall know what I'm talking about... It didn't work either. My grandpa took us way out in the country to one of his distant cousin's house and this is what she did... She went outside and picked up some kind of leaf. Brought it in the house, waved it inside Abby's mouth, waved it in her mouth and put it into a brown paper bag...said something to the bag and put the bag in the fire. Now, I KNOW this sounds like witch craft, my mother is deathly afraid of witchcraft and she was petrified the whole time we were there....but, is that really what it was? We were told it is called "cungging". And, that can only be done by someone who has never laid eyes on their real father whether they knew it or not. (What this had to do with it, I don't know...) Anyhow, by the time we left you could already tell it was going away. She'd stopped crying. By the next day, you couldn't tell she'd had it. What gives? I was told the same thing happened to me when I was little bitty girl. But, I would not have believed it had I not been there and seen it with my own eyes with Abby. Does anyone know what I'm talking about or do I have yall convinced that my elevator doesn't go to the top floor anymore? I'm serious, I seen this myself. And, I wasn't on any drugs at all, promise. Thanks, Angel

Guest guest
Hi Suzi, My mother spoke of quite a few things such as this when I was young. In fact, where she was raised, most of the people sought out help from practitioners who were not formally trained in western medicine. Most illnesses were approached with herbs or by a physical connection with an outside energy focus. I've formally studied the sciences and I can find no physical connection that can be concretely applied to give credence to these applications. However, because I have also been witness to, or have heard first hand reports affirming such practices, I know there is some sort of energy shift that occurs within the person. The laws of science state that matter cannot be created or destroyed in our universe, it is transferred. A simple example of this is one moving train car hitting a train car that was stationary. The previously moving train car stops and the car that was at rest now moves. (I harbor the belief that Einstein was very aware of this shift as it applies to human health, but I also believe that he was prudent of his public and supporters.) I have personally noticed that these improvements in physical health (of which you speak) occur more rapidly with infants and children. The adults who benefit appear to be individuals who are more sensitive, receptive* (or open-minded) in personality.-Cheers. *Perhaps this is why those who have gained assistance by non- traditional methods are labelled as gullible. Those individuals whose personalities are not as " receptive, " somehow block the transformation of the energy into or out of their physical system. However, they must still find healing. Their natural reaction then, is to find a way to healing for their personality state. They must discredit the choices of " receptive " individuals, in order to validate the acceptance of traditional western choices. This is the way they receive healing for their personality type. Therefore all ways are valid. - Dolly > My daughter in law got some kind of kids remedies book... Has anyone heard of this? or done it? or know why or even guess why it works? > Suzi > >

Check out this site.... http://www.herbsandapples.com/books/PlantingGold.htm Suzi I really don't think so... She picked up a leaf off the ground. A leaf from a tree. This was in Georgia, and I don't remember if it was maple, oak or what...but, it wasn't growing on the ground...no, it wasn't maple. Aren't maple leaves real big? This was about the size of a quarter and if I'm not mistaken, I believe it was already brown...but, I could be wrong on that. This was seventeen years ago, hard to remember color, but fantastic enough to remember until I die. Thanks though...and that does look like a goodie there. Guest guest
I am not going into the magic side of this as that is a religious topic. Your cousin is obviously knows a lot about local plant life. You could probably learn a lot about the medicinal qualities of those plants yourself from her if she is still around. Guest guest
Angel witchcraft is simply another way of focusing energy, like when you pray. There is really nothing to be afraid of ;-) The lady who healed your daughter would be called a "hedge witch" by some. She was probably taught by her mother and so on back through the years. The hand movements and particulars are not really important, the movement of the energy is. Hope this makes sense to you. Now, that I don't remember. Seems like there was several trees in the yard. I was scared too death that my baby was going to die because I took her to a witch. This was long before I did my studies on witchcraft...and was taught to fear everything but the church we went to right then. And, I was so relieved when she stopped crying and nothing bad happened, I kept an eagle eye on that woman though. Mama said when the woman did me when I was a baby she didn't let them see what she did to me. Imagine giving your baby to a friend of a friend and not knowing what's going to happen!? I don't thank so! Anyhow...I sure hope someone knows about this, I am curious as all get out. Angel
