Guest guest
I just tried Fang restaurant ( btwn 3rd and new montgomery) and the owner brought me in the kitchen to show me the soy sauce. It had hydroloized soy protein and no indication of any wheat products so it seemed OK. Anyone else tried Fang? Same owners as House of Nanking as well... Guest guest
I tried Fang when they first opened and spoke with the owner about CD and was extremely limited with what I could order and eat. While he showed you the soy sauce and explained it did not contain any wheat, please keep in mind they do have won ton skins and other ingredients with flour so you would be taking a risk with cross contamination, specifically wok cooking. The owner couldn't have been nicer and so very accommodating, I did eat safely, just limited choices were offered to me to be 100% safe.On Aug 5, 2010, at 10:44 PM, TrVerb@... wrote:This is super exciting! Guest guest
Oh, so not so super exciting, if they use wheat flour to thicken sauces for wok-stir-fries... Thanks for passing on this info, Robin. -- Tristan Sent from my tin can and string.
