Sorry for the delay I am going to write real quick and get back to packing orders before I need to get my son. You have been on my ming especially in this damp rainy weather that does not help joints feel better. Getting rid of inflammation is obviously the focus. I do not like the deep tissue formula at all I have to say- it feels fine and relives symptoms fast but it is not truly natural in my mind and can be harmful. Infrequent use and being sure to protect the liver with Milk Thistle may be ok. Most aromatherapists are dead set against using Birch even it it is truly birch you find- very little on the market most is not actually distilled birch. Anyway....that's a whole other thread. Your finger: MSM is super!! Here are some formulas- pick one: A hand bath or cool compress with: 3 drops Helichrysum italicum (Corsican) 4 drops Chamomile (German is more anti inflammatory but Roman is good too) 3 drops Yarrow OR 3 Chamomile (German is more anti inflammatory but Roman is good too) 3 Lavender 2 Marjoram and 2 Peppermint Pain relief massage: 2 Peppermint 3 Lavender 3 Rosemary 1 Ginger 10 drops to a tablespoon carrier oil- I would use infused arnica, calendula, st johns wort. You can follow with a drop of dmso if you like. Cleansing massage (important if RA is developing) Blend Also use this blend mixed in 2/3 cup Epsom Salts and add to a drawn bath and soak. You could also alternate with a Ginger bath. Send me your address off list and I will send you some of the Ginger bath salts- if you have MSM in bulk add a tablespoon to the bath 3 Juniper 1 Lemon 2 Cypress 2 Back Pepper 2 Juniper Diet Eliminate the night shade vegetables, wheat, and dairy Essential Fatty Acids- oily fishes and oils Lot's of fresh raw juices, Celery, carrot, cabbage Celery seed is good tea for this! Cucumber is good- pineapple and berries too. Lots of greens and fresh food. No sugar, processed foods Low in refined carbs Low in animal You can also iron a cabbage leaf and wrap around the finger for relief- like with mastitis and gout. External fomentation (Tierra) Comfrey Horsetail Gravel rt Marshmallow rt Lobelia Ginger rt equal amounts simmer in one pint water 30 min dip fabric apply/ wrap Gotta run...!!! Take care! Guest guest
Suzie I know in one of the posts you spoke of internally trying to ingest Epson salts. Have you tried just soaking your hand in hot water and epson salts? I worked beside a man who often spoke of his fingers being sore, I massaged his hands one day and the next day one of my fingers got real sore in a couple of the joints. Then it spread to some of the other fingers as days passed. I soaked it in epson and internally took chlorophyll. I tend to think it is some sort of bacteria that might get in through a small opening in the skin when you have hand contact with someone else. I also rubbed the bach flower rescue remedy cream on it and that helped significantly. Take care of it. Dolly > Ok got a problem...my ring finger is swollen and joints tender... Guest guest
You want malic acid eat some Granny apples. They are very high in malic acid. Natural too.
