Have you tried the Wilderness Family Naturals centrifuged coconut oil?

If anyone has tried both the WFN centrifuged and the Fresh Shores, I'd

like to have a comaprison of the two. Isn't the Fresh Shores only sold

by Mercola or is it available elsewhere?

I just got a gallon of the WFN centrifuged and it is as good as I

remember. I tried some around my eyes, and it doesn't bother them as

much as the Nutiva does. Can't say it doesn't bother eyes at all though.

Just a little more comfortable than the Nutiva.

I find the WFN centrifuged tastes and smells fresher and lighter than

Nutiva, and it is a little whiter in color, but again, I don't think

Nutiva is bad, they are quite close actually, but I prefer the WFN

centrifuged. Given the price difference I will probably keep buying the

Nutiva and using it for cooking and baking. But I hope to be able to

keep some WFN for uses where its very low peroxide rating makes a

difference, such as around my eyes, and where taste difference is

noticeable.

FWIW, I stopped buying tropical traditions a couple years ago so can't

compare it. But when I got my first WFN centrifuged I remember liking it

much better than the tt. Just my taste preference.

Tropical Traditions. The Fresh Shores is so sweet and fresh tasting that it

makes the Tropical Traditions taste like it is rancid (which of course it

isn't). I can even eat the Fresh Shores off the spoon which I have never been

able to do with the Tropical Traditions.
