> I learned about Dandy Blend on your old website. I ordered some,

and love the taste of it. I'm wondering, though, if it's okay to

drink since it does contain natural sweetening. The website

(www.dandyblend.com) says the following:

>

> It is naturally sweetened by the fructose released from the

breakdown of the storage starch inulin when the dandelion and chicory

roots are roasted. Because all sweetening comes from substances in

the roots, Dandy Blend is a low carbohydrate beverage, with only 1

gram of carbohydrate per cup.

==>I wouldn't recommend drinking it.

I think it's gf the same way vodka is gf... it's extracted in a way that the

gluten peptides can't get through. vodka is distilled. i don't really know how

dandy blend is processed. i'm guessing, but that was my take.
